MVARC is seeking an enthusiastic researcher to support field-based, interdisciplinary research in sustainable agriculture. Based in southern Portugal, you'll contribute to the ESTEVA+ project, exploring innovative uses of Cistus ladanifer (rockrose) for bioenergy, soil health, and animal feed, plus be involved in ongoing European projects including ReLivestock and DigitAF. The role involves designing field trials, analysing ecological and socio-economic data, and engaging with local farmers and partners. Ideal candidates have a strong background in agroecology or environmental science, are fluent in Portuguese and English, and thrive in applied, impact-driven research.
